This, like most of my recent stuff, was based on a dream. The scenery was almost colorless and a creepy pale grey. The only thing in sight with any real depth was a small group of ravens. Painting the girl was a pain and a half, but I think I've gotten better with highlights and shadows. Yay me! :boogie:

This is dedicated to David, aka =Shoofly-Stock because he's been in a funk recently. Everyone should go visit his stock account. :D Surprisingly, this is one of the few things I've made that doesn't use any of his stuff... Huh. :shrug:

Very nice. Great job on the painting, and I love how empty it feels. It adds to the emotional depths of the piece and what this girl must be thinking to look so forelorn. You're getting much much much better on shadows and highlights.

Beautiful piece. Although it is done without many colours, the truth is that i find it to be very sweet
