I've edited the sky a little bit since it looked so grainy. Thanks to ~nemina for pointing that out.
I blame this entirely on *lindowyn-stock, who sent me a copy of the Nightwish song "Dead Boy's Poem." After listening to it roughly 100 times, I went through all my Nightwish stuff and got stuck on "Forever Yours."
I found an absolutely exquisite background I just had to use, and from then on, there was just a lot of repainting the girl. Simple.
So... this is dedicated to the Evil Elf.
Credits:
Nightwish: Forever Yours
Fare thee well, little broken heart
Downcast eyes, lifetime loneliness
Whatever walks in my heart will walk alone
Constant longing for the perfect soul
Unwashed scenery forever gone
Whatever walks in my heart will walk alone
No love left in me
No eyes to see the heaven beside me
My time is yet to come
So I'll be forever yours
Whatever walks in my heart will walk alone
No love left in me
No eyes to see the heaven beside me
My time is yet to come
So I'll be forever yours
No love left in me
No eyes to see the heaven beside me
My time is yet to come
So I'll be forever yours

Really nice! I can tell you went to a lot of effort repainting that image. It really shows in a great way! And it makes her fit on what looks to be a rendered background. I really love the atmosphere here. It's also a great interpretation of the song.
Thank you so much! I tweaked the background image as well, but most of the work went on the model. The background was so dark that I couldn't just slap her on there without a lot of work.

Ohh, lovely! Night scenes are especially a little more difficult to do. What I'd suggest though is that you add a source of light. I don't know if it's my display, but the sky looks a little choppy too. I'd use a stock picture of some clouds and layer if over that and then go over it with a smudge tool to work out any photo grain and such. Then, I'd take a moon brush and stick a moon somewhere in there. Other than that, it's really nice.

My display shows the sky as being perfectly smooth. However, on dA, it looks a little gritty around the clouds. That's seriously annoying! It looked fine earlier! Thanks for the advice. I need to fix that gritty sky.
